  I decided to check out Cofer Brothers last week to support a local business since I'm new to Tucker and hadn't shopped there before. I just needed a few pieces of wood for a planter box and while I left the store with what I needed, I was very disappointed by the lack of customer service. No one greeted me when I walked in despite there being three employees behind the counter and when I inquired about how to purchase the lumber, the man at the counter gave me a very sarcastic response rather than a genuine explanation. I can appreciate sarcasm but certainly don't think it should be your first interaction with a customer, especially when it would be so easy to shop at the big box store I usually purchase my furniture building supplies from. The men at the counter proceeded to talk more to each other than to me as I made my purchase too, further discouraging me from returning. They seemed to have a good selection of materials but their lack of customer service will probably prevent me from shopping there again in the future.
